Employment Type: Part-time or full-time Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate of $75 Location: Yongah Hill Detention Centre clinic, 90km northeast of Perth. (Please note: accommodation and travel allowance are not provided.) Be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering person-centred, high-quality, and safe care. You’ll complete comprehensive assessments and plan, implement, and evaluate care to support the health and wellbeing of individuals in detention. This role offers a diverse clinical scope, including immunisations, blood collection, wound care, health assessments, care planning, medication administration, and health education. You'll provide care that respects the dignity, culture, values, and rights of each person, contributing to a safe, inclusive, and compassionate healthcare environment. Let's talk about you! You are an AHPRA-registered Nurse (General, unrestricted) with at least five years of clinical experience, including hands-on patient care in mental health or alcohol and other drugs (AOD) in an operational (non-Telehealth) setting. You hold a postgraduate qualification in mental health and/or AOD (AQF-recognised) and bring strong prioritisation, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you adapt easily to changing circumstances while delivering high-quality care that meets the evolving needs of detainees.
